The story
Why we started — and why we’re still here.
I apprenticed under my grandfather, who built houses with his hands in a small village where “close enough” didn’t exist in the vocabulary. A wall was either plumb or it wasn’t. A joint was either tight or it wasn’t. Pride was the only fuel.
When I started in American construction, I was surprised how much of that had been lost — replaced with production schedules, subcontracted layers, and “good enough for a remodel.” I founded King Home Pros in 2012 to bring a different standard to Dallas–Fort Worth homeowners.
Twelve years later, we’re still a small shop by design. We take on fewer projects than we could. We employ our core tradesmen full-time. And we walk every single job site myself. When you hire us, you’re hiring people who think of your home the way my grandfather thought of his work — as something our name is attached to for life.
